WEST DENNIS - Dr. Howard F. Carpenter Jr., of West Dennis, formerly of South Easton, died Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016.He was the loving husband of Wilma F. (Meagher) Carpenter for nearly 57 years.Dr. Carpenter was born and raised in Providence, R.I., and was a graduate of Holy Cross College and Harvard Medical School. During the Vietnam War, he served in the U.S. Navy as a flight surgeon with the U.S. Marines. He retired as a captain from the Naval Reserve after 30 years of service. [...]
