HYANNIS - Neta passed away peacefully this week surrounded by friends and family. She was born in Kansas City, MO, and after graduating as a Registered Nurse, she ventured to California to pursue her career. Neta also served in the Navy Nurse Corps in San Diego in the preparation for WWII.Neta was married to William Newton for 56 years and settled in Whittier, CA to raise their family.
