Carpenter, native of Bedford, NY, former resident of Eastham, MA, died at home in Port Charlotte, Florida on November 26, 2016.His wife Helen, predeceased him in 2000.“Gary” expressed a desire for donations to Shriners Hospital for Children, or St. Jude’s Hospital for Children in-lieu of flowers or condolences.A memorial by the local American Legion Post was conducted at his home.Final Services were private.
