YARMOUTH - Our beloved mother, Elinore Thompson, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016, at Mayflower Place Nursing Center at the age of 90. She was born on April 13, 1925, daughter of the late Emil and Agnes Eckart and grew up in Holyoke, MA. She graduated as an RN from Mercy Hospital Nursing School in Springfield, married Donald Thompson and lived in Springfield, MA for several years. In 1960, she and her late husband moved to South Yarmouth when they opened Thompson Drug Store in Hyannis. [...]
