FALMOUTH - Mrs. Joan Claire (Harrigan) Balfe, a longtime resident of Falmouth, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at JML Care Center in Falmouth. She was the daughter of Eva and Joseph Harrigan. She was the loving wife of John J. Balfe III for 47 years (deceased in 2003). She is survived by her son, John of Middleton MA, her three grandchildren: Nina, Amy and John, and her daughter-in-law, Denise; and her sister Barbara Hertz, of New Jersey.
