HYANNIS - World War II Veteran Donald Alden Hedderig Sr., of Hyannis and Englewood, FL, died peacefully Tuesday morning February 28th, 2017, at his Brookside Assisted Living apartment in Centerville, MA.Born in Natick, MA to Helen and Theodore Hedderig on October 30th, 1921. After high school, Don attended Fannie Farmers Baking School before joining the Navy Seabees.
