E. FALMOUTH - Ruth Virginia Shiflett, nee Linka, was born December 19, 1923 in Hopewell, VA to Paul and Eva Linka. She died peacefully at Falmouth Hospital on January 29, 2017 after a long illness.Ruth was one of sixteen children. She is survived by one brother, Fred Linka of Quinton, VA, a cousin, Bessie Lee Simpson of Mechanicsville, VA, and her dear friend Jane C. Souza of Hatchville, MA.
