YARMOUTHPORT - Charles Richard Schmitt beloved husband, father and grandfather died on Saturday December 31, 2016 of Prostate Cancer, at the McCarthy Care Center in Sandwich.Mr. Schmitt was born on May 19, 1930 in Weymouth, MA to Charles and Barbara (Marden) Schmitt. He attended Thayer Academy, White Plains High School and graduated from New York University in 1960. He worked at the Duff Norton Company from 1961-1995.
