WOODS HOLE - Anne Whitin (Swift) Sawyer, of Gansett Road, Woods Hole, died on Feb. 16, 2016.The daughter of E. Kent Swift and Katharine Whitin Swift of Whitinsville and Woods Hole, Anne was born in Whitinsville on Oct. 31, 1918. She graduated from Miss Hall's School in Pittsfield, Mass., and from Smith College in 1940. She married John E.
