MASHPEE - Sherwood B. "Woody" Young Sr., 96 of Mashpee, passed away peacefully at the Cape Regency Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Centerville on December 7, 2016. Woody moved to the Cape in 2002 to his beloved community of Southport, having lived many happy years in Webster, MA as well as Putnam, CT and Pittsfield, MA. Woody was born in Webster, MA on March 8, 1920 to Edna and Larry Young. He graduated from Putnam High School and also studied Veterinary Medicine at Carnegie Tech. [...]
