BREWSTER - George Albert "Al" Powell, a resident of Brewster, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Wingate at Melrose, at age 77.Al was born in Boston on May 9, 1939, one of three children of the late George A. Powell and Serena (Watson) Powell. He was raised Cambridge and graduated from Cambridge Rindge and Latin School before completing business classes at Boston University.
