WEYMOUTH - George Q. Cully, Jr was born 1/27/28 in Queens, NY; the oldest of 5 boys to George Q. Cully, Sr. and Miriam Traynor Cully.George’s youth was largely spent on the coast of Maine. He left high school to join the Navy during WWII. The Heavy Cruiser USS Helena was home for the duration of the war.
