HARWICH - A quintessential matriarch and longstanding member of the Harwich and Cape Verdean community has passed on after a blessed and fulfilling life on July 14, 2016.Agnes Elizabeth Rose was born August 17th, 1921 to Henry and Laura Rose of Harwich. She and her husband of 71 years, John Rose, were married in 1942 just prior to his entry into World War II.Soon after, she would become mother to the first of their two children, a role she would embrace and flourish in.
